The Database!

The idea is to create a user driven and peer reviewed database of all cars ever produced anywhere.

And with data we mean useful data like valve lash, timing marks, cylinder head tightening sequence, tire pressure etc. etc. There are enough other sites where you can find the turning radius of your vehicle - a statistic i've never needed in my 40 year career. But we strive to serve the really useful bits of information like motor oil type and capacity, horsepower and torque and well ... the turning radius also.

When you have the database as a kind of framework you can tie a lot of different things together quite accurately. Suppliers and customers, like-minded enthusiasts and event organisers, buyers and sellers, information specifically for "that car".

With geolocation you can serve the adds that you want/need, not the one from Timbuktu - unless you live in Timbuktu. And wouldn't it be great if you could adjust that. If, say, you can't find it in the area - then look in a wider radius. What if the site knows where you are and serves you suppliers and events in the area where you are - like on vacation with your classic car? The possibilities are endless and we would love to hear from you if you have any ideas.
